Fairway Students
Our Mission
We believe the purpose of student ministry is not simply to provide age-appropriate activities or clean entertainment. Rather, Fairway Student Ministry exists to teach, shepherd, and cultivate deep affections for Jesus Christ in teenagers and young adults.
Our prayer is to see students who abide in Christ, who walk in a manner worthy of the gospel, and who grow into lifelong disciples of Jesus. We desire for every student who passes through our ministry to leave with:
-
A growing ability to read, study, and understand God’s Word
-
A clear understanding of the importance of the local church
-
A conviction to live out and help fulfill the Great Commission
We believe the gospel truly changes lives. Therefore, our singular mission in student ministry is to reach teenagers with the gospel of Jesus Christ and help them grow in faithful obedience to Him.
To pursue this mission, we focus our efforts on Sunday morning Life Groups, a Wednesday night youth Bible study, and intentional fellowship opportunities throughout the year—including camps, lock-ins, and other activities designed to foster community and spiritual growth.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday School (Life Groups) | 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
During Sunday School, our students are currently working through a curriculum teaching them the doctrine of Justification.
This transformative study on sin, redemption, and hope. Justification: Right with God examines why the world feels broken, why relationships require constant repair, and how we can’t fix things on our own. Starting with the story of humanity’s first rebellion, this study dives into how sin separates us from God—and why Jesus’ work on the cross is the only way to be made right with Him.
Students will trace the impact of sin throughout history, reflect on Christ’s victory over sin, and discover how God’s grace restores us to Himself. With thought-provoking questions and practical application points, this series equips students to understand and embrace the hope we have in belonging to Christ.
Wednesday Nights
Bible Study | 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM
On Wednesday nights, students gather for in-depth Bible study centered on expositional teaching. Currently, we are walking verse by verse through the book of Ecclesiastes, helping students see the meaning, context, and application of God’s Word.
Each Wednesday includes:
-
Christ-Centered Worship
-
Rich, Scripture-centered teaching
-
A focus on understanding the text as it was written
-
Breakout groups divided by age and gender, led by trusted adult leaders
These small groups provide space for discussion, questions, prayer, and practical application of the lesson.
Our desire is that Fairway Students would not simply attend youth group, but would grow into biblically grounded, gospel-shaped followers of Christ who love the church and live on mission.
