Membership at Fairway

We believe that Christian Baptism is by the immersion in water of a believer, in the name of the Father, and Son, and Holy Spirit; to show forth, in a solemn and beautiful emblem, our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, with its effect in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life; that it is prerequisite to the privileges of a Church relation; and to the Lord’s Supper. Only those who have been baptized as believers can pursue membership and partake of the Lord’s Supper.

Membership at Fairway

Becoming a Member

The first step in pursuing membership at Fairway is attending our Fairway 101 Class.

Attending Fairway 101 does not commit you to membership. It is an informational meeting covering our distinctives, leadership, and membership.

We offer Membership Classes every other month.

Upon the completion of a Fairway 101 class, we will need:

A completed membership application.

In the interview, we will discuss:

Your testimony and conversion.

Your understanding of the gospel.

Any questions that you may have about Fairway.

This is simply a chance for us to get to know you—think of it more like a conversation and less like a job interview.

Upon the affirmation of the elders, they will recommend you to the congregation for membership.

Our members will then vote to affirm you during a members' meeting.
